SABC TV Licence Rewards 2025 – Promotional Terms and Conditions

Start Date: 1 October 2025 | End Date: 31 December 2025

 

1. Participants

You must be a South African resident with a valid ID number to participate in the SABC TV Licence Rewards 2025 (the “Promotion”). The following are not eligible to participate:

- Any persons who are directors, officers, or employees of SABC TV Licence Rewards (“the Promoter” or “SABC TV Licence Rewards”), or any company supplying prizes (“Prize Partners”), or any company responsible for redemption of prizes/discounts for the Promotion and their respective parent companies, franchisees, subsidiaries, affiliated companies or service agencies, and those companies retained in any way by SABC TV Licence Rewards for the administration of the Promotion.
- Any other persons involved in the development, production, or distribution of materials for this Promotion.
- Persons who are immediate family members (defined as spouse or biological or adoptive, or step–mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son or dependent) of, or reside in the same household as, any person in any of the preceding categories.
- Any person acting on behalf of a syndicate or collection of persons acting in concert.
- Any person entering via an agent or using the services of or which is an entity carrying on the business of entering (or advising on entering) prize promotions.

2. Age Limitations

Although there is no age limit to participate in the Promotion, some instant win/discount prizes can only be claimed if you are aged 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must submit the prize claim on your behalf.

3. Duration

The SABC TV Licence Rewards Promotion is live from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025. These dates are subject to the availability of the Reward Vouchers and may be adjusted or extended by the Promoter to facilitate the distribution of the Promotional Vouchers, if necessary. The deadline for redemptions (as set out within these Terms and Conditions) may consequently be amended accordingly.

- Final Reward Voucher Claim Date on Microsite: Customers will have 1 month from the date of their payment to claim their reward on the SABC microsite.
- Last Reward Voucher Redemption Date at Partner: Customers will have 30 days from the date of voucher issue to redeem their reward from the reward partner.

Check for details of any changes on the SABC TV Licence Rewards website at www.sabctvlicenserewards.com (“the Website”), where such consequential amendments will be clearly set out.

4. How to Obtain SABC TV Licence Rewards

South African TV Licence holders must register on the rewards platform: www.sabctvlicenserewards.com. After registering, South African TV Licence holders must pay 100% of their balance due to qualify for rewards.

5. How to Redeem a Reward from the SABC TV Licence Rewards Microsite

Step 1: Customer pays their TV Licence via standard channels.
Step 2: Customer receives an SMS with a thank-you message, a unique promo code, and a link to www.sabctvlicenserewards.com.
Step 3: The customer logs onto the microsite, inputs their promo code, and account number.
Step 4: Customer chooses their rewards from the applicable reward tiers based on their payment category (full payment of 100%).
Step 5: Customer receives an SMS/email with their reward voucher code(s).

7. General Rewards Terms

7.1. Only one person per voucher code; the voucher cannot be split. All voucher codes are valid for one-time use only.
7.2. The code is only valid at the relevant venue or partner of your choice.
7.3. Codes cannot be reused.
7.4. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
7.5. By using this voucher code, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of the selected venue or partner.

8. Rewards Descriptions

The following rewards are available for customers who have paid the full amount of 100% due to the SABC TV Licence:
